In the basement of our building you will find shelves and shelves of used books for sale! The proceeds go toward supporting our Partner Church in Varfalva. If you like to read, you're in the right place!
We hold a social get-together to celebrate the start of the new church year.
Lecture Lunches are held on the second Wednesday each month from September through June. They feature a guest speaker drawn from the church or outside community. There is always an announcement soliciting participation via email reply and a nominal charge to cover food costs
Fridays from 8:00–9:30 a.m. No need to be retired to join us for a casual breakfast and discussion. We typically rotate meeting in person and on Zoom. All are welcome.
Greeters provide a friendly welcome to all guests at the main entrances, Information Table, before and after the service, at coffee hour, and/or at other church events.
Greeters will typically hold open doors for guests, and greet them with a smile and "Good Morning," or "Welcome." They provide direction for anyone needing information or help. Sign up for a regular monthly spot or fill in whenever you’re available.
The Art Group holds many events throughout the year, with a standing gallery in the Fireside Room, art shows of work by congregants and visitors, and open studio times.
Practice speaking Spanish in a relaxed, supportive group. Thursdays at 10 a.m. on Zoom. Open to all.
For the women and friends of MLUC monthly lunch and speaker. The purpose is to build community, get to know and enrich each other. To provide opportunities to present travel, art, books and other experiences to our group. Speakers from inside and outside our group are presenters."
The Worship Visuals Committee provides the decorations seen each Sunday at the front of the Main Meeting Room. These decorations may relate to what you will hear during the service, reflect the current season or holiday, or just brighten the stage.
